After a successful and testing tour of South Africa, a new-look team India led by Rohit Sharma is all set to face Sri Lanka in the opening Twenty20 International match of the tri-nation series at the R. Premadasa Stadium here on Tuesday.

The tri-nation Nidahas Trophy series will be contested between Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh.

The decision of BCCI to rest some of the senior players like regular captain Virat Kohli and the veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya, gave the chance to some promising young players to make their mark.



Players like Washington Sundar, Vijay Shankar, Rishabh Pant, Deepak Hooda and Mohammad Siraj were included in the squad, which could give a trouble times to both the team in the series.

The live broadcast of the match will be shown on DSport. You can also catch the live coverage on Rishtey Cineplex/HD in Hindi commentary. Also watch the match live on JioTV. The match is scheduled to start at 7.00 PM IST.

India have played two full series against Sri Lanka in a six-month span with fans and experts complaining of an overkill of cricket between the two teams. Bangladesh are the third team in the tournament.

Australian women cricket team won the first ODI of three-match series against India by eight wickets at Reliance Stadium, Vadodara, on Monday. Opting to bat first, India’s opening batting order collapsed and Pooja Vastrakar scored the maiden half-century of her ODI career, thus becoming the first Indian woman player to hit a fifty at number nine. Sony Sports Network Channels to broadcast NBA Games in India during Prime Time

The National Basketball Association (NBA) today announced the first-ever broadcasts of live NBA games in India during primetime. From March 11 – April 8, 2018, the NBA will schedule a weekly game for live primetime broadcast in India every Sunday at 10:00 p.m. India Standard Time (IST) on Sony SIX, Sony SIX HD, Sony TEN 3 and Sony TEN 3 HD.
